Devanga Vatti Ashok is the Metrics & Evaluation Lead at the Johns Hopkins Center for Infectious Diseases in India. He is a member of the team in Hyderabad, Telangana, India, and has worked with the Johns Hopkins-India infectious diseases partnership for two years.

Devanga Vatti Ashok is responsible for developing and implementing appropriate monitoring systems for tracking program activities and results. He manages electronic tablet-based for data collection and is responsible for reviewing the functioning of monitoring systems and identifying areas for improvement. He implements data quality assessment, supports the program to generate and disseminate evidence to the wider community, and provides regular updates on project progress against key performance indicators for planning, monitoring, review, and reporting. He demonstrates the highest degree of integrity throughout all activities and raises any concerns in the implementation of quality.

Prior to joining CIDI, he worked as Monitoring and Evaluation Officer at FHI 360 in Andhra Pradesh, a Monitoring and Evaluation Manager at SAATHII in Telangana & Andhra Pradesh, and a Monitoring and Evaluation Manager at Karnataka Health Promotion Trust in Karnataka & Andhra Pradesh states.

Devanga Vatti Ashok received a Master’s in Business Administration from Manipal University in Manipal, India.
