All case presentations in this program have been standardized and quality assured in selection, presentation and discussion. Description: A 28 year married female, resident of Karad, Maharashtra underwent caesarean section (LSCS) at 8:30am and presented in the immediate postoperative period with complaints of: Sudden onset. Cough which was associated with pink frothy sputum. Patient was apparently asymptomatic prior to the operative procedure (LSCS), after which she had. Breathlessness: sudden in onset, progressive in nature, aggravates on exertion, further progressed to breathlessness even at rest. Associated with sputum, frothy pink in color, non foul smelling.
