Pride & Beyond: Addressing Health Equity for LGBTQIA+ People in India

On Wednesday, June 7th, CIDI celebrated Pride Month at the event "Pride & Beyond: Addressing Health Equity for LGBTQIA+ People in India."

Simran Bharucha, Director of Transgender Health for Project ACCELERATE, led discussion about India's first comprehensive clinic the for the Transgender Community and screened the documentary "Mitr Clinic - Pride and Beyond."  Honored presenters included Dr. Sunil Solomon, Dr. Shruti Mehta, Dr. Helene Hedian, and Dr. Stephen Gange.  Please enjoy the recording of the event and its celebration of expanding services for communities in need.
