To strengthen tuberculosis (TB) clinical care and research in India and Pakistan, CCGHE collaborated with BJGMC, the National AIDS Research Institute (NARI) and Indus Hospital to develop and deploy the Tuberculosis (TB) Diagnosis, Treatment ,and Prevention course. Originally developed as a facilitated course with more than 230 participants, the course was subsequently re-configured as self-paced and offered online for both high and low bandwidth connections. The online course featured 25 lectures from leading TB experts on a range of topics including TB epidemiology and laboratory diagnostics, vaccines, and pathogenesis. with a low or high bandwidth Internet connection. Materials were available online, and a Certificate of Achievement was offered.
