Amita Gupta Named to NIAID Council

We are pleased to announce Dr. Amita Gupta’s appointment to the NIAID Council, the chief advisory committee for National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases at the U.S. National Institutes of Health. 

 

According to NIAID’s website, the Advisory Council’s roles are: 

 



  1. Performing second-level review

  2. Advising on policy

  3. Reviewing programs

  4. Developing and clearing concepts for program announcements, request for applications, request for proposals, and broad agency announcements

Dr. Gupta will serve on the Council for a term of 4 years.
