  • In Autumn 2016, Ms. Mehta received the highly competitive Johns Hopkins Provost Undergradulate Research Award for 2016-17. Her study, titled Tuberculosis Knowledge and Attitude for Pregnant Women, leverages data from Maternal Inflammation, Diet and Gut Microbiome in HIV: Impact on Infant Outcomes, led by Drs. Alexander and Shivakoti

Received the Fellow Teaching Award from the Hopkins Bayview Medical Housestaff Training Program. This award is given to the fellow in the Department of Medicine recognized as the most outstanding teacher by interns and residents at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine.
